Our long-time supporter, Michael Humphries (pictured above), an organist at Pishill Church near Henley-on-Thames in Oxfordshire, recently played a short recital at a coffee morning held in aid of El Shaddai, raising the magnificent sum of £490, which will be used to help with the needs of our Day Shelters.

Michael said “Anita’s father, Richard Benham-Hollman, was a well-known radio amateur with callsign G2DYM. Richard first told me what his daughter was doing back in 1998. In the October 1998 issue of the WACRAL Newsletter (World Association of Christian Radio Amateurs and Listeners), mention was made of a visit to Goa by member Elaine G0WTO to see the work being done by Anita. El Shaddai was clearly such a worthwhile cause to support, so I commenced doing just that in 1998, and continue to do so, to this day“.
“WACRAL used to hold annual conferences and Anita was the Guest Speaker on two occasions, in 2016 and 2018, where she gave updates on the charity“.
