This September, Matthew, along with his good friend Michael, embarked on a life-changing journey—walking the entire 148-mile (237 km) Thames Path from Kemble in Gloucestershire to Hampton Court Palace in Surrey, England. They’ve walked along the path of the River Thames as it winds through rolling countryside, charming villages, historic towns, and iconic cityscapes.

But this journey is about more than just personal growth or physical endurance—it’s about making a difference.
Matthew and Michael are walking to raise awareness and vital funds for Rainbow’s End, a girls’ hostel project. Rainbow’s End will provide a safe, nurturing home for underprivileged girls, giving them the chance to pursue their education, grow in confidence, and take a step into a future full of promise.
The Thames Path isn’t just a scenic route. It follows one of England’s most historic rivers – a waterway that powered the Industrial Revolution, served as a key trade route, and connected communities across centuries. Just as the Thames has brought people together through history, this walk aims to unite us in a shared mission: to change lives.

With your contribution, we can ensure that Rainbow’s End becomes a true sanctuary—a place where every girl has the right to feel safe, supported, and empowered to dream.
Together, we can achieve something great.
You’re invited to walk with Matthew and Michael in spirit by supporting this cause. Every donation brings us one step closer to our goal, and every act of kindness echoes across the miles they’ll walk.
Thank you in advance for believing in this mission and investing in the future of these young girls. To support Matthew and Michael in raising vital funds for Rainbow’s End Hostel, please follow the link below:
