HOW WE SUPPORT INDIA
Every contribution makes a big difference in the life of a child living in abject poverty. People like you have helped to make a real change. Let’s bring smiles to the faces of India’s children.
We’ve supported the children who live with their families and encouraged the parents of those children living in slums to enrol them in school so that they may benefit from an education in the hope of a much brighter future. We recognised that mothers needed help and support to improve their practical skills which in turn would benefit their children and ensure that they did not become another child in need.
Our Medical Camps and Awareness Sessions are some of the many projects supporting families with knowledge and skills to enable them to make better choices around health, hygiene and family planning.
Our Food Projects ensure that children coming into our day shelters are fed a nutritious meal as well as those living in the slums and on the nearby streets. India has the most malnourished child population in the world according to the UN.
HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT EL SHADDAI
There are a number of way you can help support El Shaddai.
Sponsoring a child
It will give you great pleasure to sponsor an El Shaddai child, watching them grow and develop by seeing their photos that we send you over the years. You not only receive their school reports but personal letters from them too. The children love hearing from their sponsors and really enjoy answering letters. Fundraising Events
Quite often, supporters fundraise in the UK in a number of ways by having a coffee morning, a quiz, a sports day, a sale of goods or a jumble sale. Some of our more adventurous supporters have even taken part in treks and climbs to raise money. There are so many different ways of fundraising, so you can be as creative as you like.

We have a constant ‘Needs List’ so are more than happy to provide information on the items we are fundraising for. Please contact us if you would like to help raise money for a specific project or need.
