Once again, the annual Goa Marathon took place and was held on Sunday 9 February 2025 in Panjim. The response was simply amazing and so many people registered to take part, helping to raise money for El Shaddai Charitable Trust. The first runners (21k) started at 5.30am and the rest followed in scheduled starting slots.

Our Co-Founder, Matthew Kurian, completed the 10k run along with Sanjiv Shah (UK Chair and Trustee) and Lynne Flaxman (UK Office Co-ordinator).
John Turton, UK Trustee and Cricket Coach, ran a fabulous 5k.
Supporters, friends and family also came along to cheer on the runners and to welcome them back when they had completed the run. The Goa Marathon has several categories to choose from, including 21k, 10k, 5k and dream run, so many of our children also took part and completed the dream run. Well done to everyone!
