Our Bollywood Night held at the Blue Room Sports Venue in Harrow was a big success and enjoyed by all those that came along. We had a great night and listened to presentations given by Ravi (known as Ravi no. 1), Rucha and Simon, who all shared their experiences of growing up in El Shaddai and how the love, care and support their received transformed their lives.

Anita Edgar-Cole and Matthew Kurian both spoke about their journeys since they founded El Shaddai Charitable Trust and we also heard from Sanjiv Shah, our Chairman, and Lynne Flaxman, our UK Office Co-ordinator.

We were served some delicious food during the evening and had a great time dancing to KayKay & Co, our live Bollywood band for the night.

We held a raffle too and some lovely prizes were won, including a Champagne Afternoon Tea donated by The Ritz, tickets to the Windsor Collection donated on behalf of his Majesty, the King, dinner for 4 at the prestigious Madhu’s restaurant, tickets for a cricket match next season, complimentary dinner at the Blue Room, hampers, champagne, teddy bears and so much more.

All those that came helped us to raise over £9000, which is simply amazing, and donations are still coming in.
