Nirali Hathi happened to be in Goa with her parents Jagdish and Daksha having a few days holiday in Candolim when she got talking to Sanjiv, one of our UK Trustees, whilst enjoying the pool at the apartment complex they were all staying at . It transpired that Nirali was a Cricket Coach!
The opportunity of utilising her skills whilst in Goa was pounced upon and Nirali agreed to come and coach the girls at the Shekinah House cricket facility during one of weekly cricket afternoons run by ‘Cricket John’ (also a UK Trustee). Everyone had a great time whilst practising and the girls thoroughly enjoyed the sessions that Nirali gave. On her second coaching session, Nirali and her parents surprised the girls when they presented them with a brand new cricket kit and equipment for the team which was indeed, a very special and happy moment for all involved.
Nirali and her parents also enjoyed a couple of Sunday afternoons at the beach programmes.
